Don't Fear the Frump!

Hi Ladies!
Not here to blend in or please the crowd-
Or seeking male approval-
Women should dress primarily for their own pleasure and comfort, that should be a trend to be saluted!
For me skinny fitted jeans or the perfect fitted jeans is not a priority or a need -
I don't see the point frankly!
Why spend our money on the perfect jeans when so many vintage treasures awaits us!
 Wearing my boyfriend's jeans-
They're baggy, don't fit well, too short but somehow when i wear them i feel my confidence is boosted!
Cause, i don't care what people think!
And that makes me even more confident!
Baggy, androgynous denims are considered masculine in any case-
I say, it's not what you wear, it's how you wear it and what you exude-
That day i felt happy, carefree confident and feminine -

I was wearing

Mr.D's jeans -
Tee- Thrifted at Rennaissance
Belt - Thrifted at Rennaissance
Jacket - Gift from Mom
Boots - Retail - Gift from Mr. D

Have yourself a great day

I will see you soon

You look GREAT in these jeans. Mr. D is going to have difficulty getting them back. You are so right about doing your own thing. I love it when I'm wearing something totally original and comfortable. That is when I feel the most free. The boots were a gift? Marry that man!

I agree; its somehow how one FEELS in an outfit rather than how one looks. I notice this when i take the pictures and say, "wow, i looked like crap yet I felt SO GOOD in this outfit! Xoxo

Those jeans looks so good! You've got a gorgeous figure and would look fab in anything!
It takes a stylish woman to rock something as mundane as jeans but you do it fabulously! xxx

bloyfriend jeans are amazing and if they are real boyfriend - that's better. I could wear ones as well but I'm too short of such adventure

The only pair of jeans I have that I wear are a pair of baggy ones I found at a thrift store for $8. I roll them up, and they are not in the least flattering, but I like them anyway. Of course you can rock a pair of Mr. D's jeans - you can make anything look great. The Kermit t-shirt is awesome! XO

You exude confidence in every ensemble that I've seen you wear. It's an inner radiance that is revealed to everyone that you encounter. That's what I see on your blog. So inspiring, Ariane! I love how you wear Mr. D's jeans!

Ariane, I found your site recently and was admiring ever since. You always look great! Very stylish, very individual, very creative, very sexy! You are such a beautiful and fun woman! :) These jeans look like made for you, and I love your choice of boots - you definitely have your own signature style!

You look feminine Ariane, whatever you wear. A lady should also be able to be dressed as a tramp - didn't even Frank S. tells us that in a song. I love your cool boyish outfit and particularly these nice red boots. I'm not able to wear Mr. U. jeans, he is so much taller and he has much less clothes than me. So he should keep them :-)
Have a fine end of the week, my lovely friend!

Oh yeah, Ariane. You look incredible in these jeans, but it's who you are as much as what you're wearing. I completely agree! Great Kermit T, laugh. I hope you're seeing signs of spring there, I'm seeing highs of 8 next week for Montreal. At last!
