Hi there fabulous Ladies!
I had an extremely busy weekend
On Saturday i was invited by the Government of Quebec to do competitive entrance exams
I applied a while ago, i said to myself if i choose to return full time in a office might as well be with full benefits and excellent wages
The exams were suppose to start at 1PM but there was a so many people there that the exams started at 2 PM
I found the exams quite easy, we had ref documents to help us out and the rest was common sense
I finished before time was up
Thank God! 5 hours of exams on Saturday is not exactly what i had in mind
I went to a clothes swap on Sunday, post coming up this week on the swap
The swap was so much fun, there should be more of those i tell you
I found such nice things
I scored big time!
I got the polka dot top at the swap
I thought it was perfect with the sequins skirt i purchased on sale at H&M for $7
The finishing touch is definitively the yellow blazer that i purchased at St-Vincent de Paul half price sale for $2
This blazer is amazing
No stains, perfect condition, nothing is missing, that is a find!

These are Mr. D's birthday gifts to me
I was so happy
I'm not a watch person but this watch i love
Plus silver rings - He knew exactly what to get me

Here is a good look at that gorgeous 70s blouse
Perfect!
Busy week- I have to figure what to pack for San Francisco
There will a post this week on what i will be packing for the trip
I'm not job hunting this week

That blouse is so gorgeous it makes me go weak at the knees, love it with the sequinned skirt and that smart blazer. The rings are lovely, Mr D's got great taste, but we know that already, he found you!
Can't wait to hear more about the swap and fingers crossed for a successful exam result! xxxxx
Good luck with all your ventures and adventures!! I love the beautiful gifts from Mr. D and you wear them so well. I think sequins may well be a girl's best friend. I need to pull mine out. Thanks for the inspiration.
I knew I would love your outfit as soon as I saw your blog post's title! Love polka dots. I just bought a polka dot bandana today. Got to figure out many ways to wear them. Debbie @ ilovemylemonadelife.com

Eugh, exams on a Saturday, that's not nice!
You look like Spring, Ariane, all yellow and green and sparkly and lovely! That shirt is fabulous, perfect with the cute skirt.
Mr D is very good at selecting great gifts, they are gorgeous rings, and I love a stylish watch. xxxxx
Wow, you've been a busy bee :)
A competitive entrance exam by the Government of Quebec, that sounds very complicated and scary...I'm getting sweaty palms just saying the words, I'm glad that you did well. I was always mega nervous before exams, even if I had spent weeks studying and preparing, I was always convinced that I would sit down, turn the paper over and remember nothing...it never actually happened but I've still never been able to shake the nerves thing.
A clothes swap sounds like a great idea but my husband would demand that I left with a bagful and came back with nothing...I'm on a buying ban until further notice, it's not so much the spending of money as the bringing of more stuff into the house, I've really got much too much already.
It's been very nice doing the markets and coming home with much lighter bags than when I left in the morning :)
That green polka dot blouse is gorgeous, the sharp collar rocks and you couldn't find a better blazer to team it with in my opinion. I really love that funky sequinned cosmic print skirt too, it's a fabulous outfit all-round!
I'm not a watch person either but that one is very chic, gorgeous rings too.
Good luck with packing for your trip...now I'm off to check out your earlier post :)
