Allo Ladies!
Last week i went to Espace Aird
EspaceAird is an historical building in my hood which was a children shoe factory in the 40s called
La Parisette
The historical building is now home of several emerging Montreal artists
So, here i went with my best colorful frock, tripod and camera to this lovely old place
Enjoy the pics!

Beautiful building. Here in SoCal most of the buildings are new and I so miss the old soulful stuff. Cute-o purple hair. They will love you in SF!

I love the old advertisements! And the old prices : > Your purple hair looks fabulous - thanks for sharing your look with Visible Monday xxxooo
What a lovely old Art Deco building! It's great that they are reusing it, and what inspiration for artists.
I love your purple hair, and your T-shirt!
More pleated loveliness and I love that fabulous abstract houndstooth cardi-jacket!
Wow, Ariane, you look AMAZING with purple hair, I love it!
Wouldn't it just be perfect if we could all just work short periods of lets say three months a year and then have the rest of the year to ourselves to expand our minds, explore our creativity and go travelling...I'd vote for someone who had that in their party manifesto ;)
Alas, it all comes down to money in the end doesn't it and it's a whole lot harder if you have dependents and debts. If you can afford the flexibility and freedom option then go for it!
Espace Aird looks like a fabulous space and if they were still making shoes there, I'd order a pair of 'Laddie' cat print slippers in a heartbeat.
Have a lovely week...xXx
That skirt is just adorable and I love the pic of you on the stairs!
This old buiding with the art supplies in the desk remind me of art school~
Enjoy San Francisco!
Ah j'aime ca les fenetres rondes! Ca fait nautique! J'aimc aussi quand les endroits publiques gardent leurs racines comme ca, on sait ce que c'était autrefois et on voit des photos! Ca rend l'endroit plus vivant!
I adore that first picture of you on the steps...you are just so cute! Thanks for the tour...I enjoy seeing places in other cities plus a cute outfit on top!
Love the old advertisements! You look so cute with purple hair!! Loving the print pleated skirt and the purple docs-- fun tee, too!!

I love old buildings, especially those with interesting history. That picture of the difference in the babies is so funny! You look quite artistic yourself in your outfit. The skirt is so colorful and interesting.

Hey, maybe the purple hair would give you a leg up in the job search. Love the shot of the roof.
I like your way of thinking
Ooooh, if those walls could talk. The first photo just makes me think about what life would have been like then, working probably six days a week at the factory. And those Laddie shoes are adorable. It's so fun to see how style changes, but stays the same.
You're a vision with your purple hair and thrifted Renaissance skirt. I love that skirt! And yes, when I'm next in Montreal I would love to go with you to your favourite haunts! It won't be for a while though. I was in Ottawa last spring, so don't expect to be out that way for a year or so.
I can't wait to see all the fun photos you take in San Francisco.

I'm fascinated by your adventures with hair color. Purple is a pleasant surprise and looks lovely with your chosen colors of the day. I always appreciate your photography and the buildings and neighborhoods of Montreal that come alive on you posts.
