A Week of Patterns

Hi there Ladies!
You would think i would have more time blogging since I'm unemployed

I spent my week phoning Virgin Mobile

My smart phone is defective

It took me a while to talk to someone, forever waiting on line, giving all the info to get it fixed and how to get a replacement phone-

I got 3 different versions at Virgin's

Everybody there was saying something different

Does it happen to you when you call a company about an issue or need info?

It seems everybody has a different story

Well one thing i can say- I'm consistent !

My outfits are colorful and eclectic !

Pissed me off to spent so much time on this

Plus i had to go downtown...

Did a bit of shopping too-

God! life is hard..
No choice hey...!

I needed a phone

Needed to go shopping?

Too many calls can be missed since I'm job hunting
I'm happy that is resolved

Plus got that fab dress...

I was able to  use Eve's ( Mr D 's daughter) old phone I-phone until mine is fixed

On Wednesday Izzy and I had a yoga date
There is a free yoga class every Wednesday where she works
I didn't go, there was a snow storm in Montreal yes again! I'm so over the white disturbance!
Class was cancelled - No power!

Underneath my dress my yoga outfit

 I was a bit disappointed
So i baked a
Gluten free lemon and poppy seed cake

And did some yoga at home
In the great hallway
Our hallway is 7 feet large
I could actually have a yoga class in the hallway

I saw my employability coach this week
I have been hiding in my comfort zone she said....
She's bombarded me with job offers that were way out of my comfort zone i tell you!
She said i got the skills and you never know!

So i have applied on 2 she sent me

Close captioned Writer and a Creative  and Admin Assistant for a record company

She was very proud of me...

You never know

I'm featured on Claire Justine's blog this weekend

I hope you enjoyed this post

Je vous fait la bise

Have a good weekend!

OMG I love those shorts so much! Leave it to you to wear them with tights and a polka dot shirt--for yoga! LOVE IT! and all the other things too--you are fantastic!
I have been shopping retail a lot too--cheaper than resale here....

OMG! How cool are you! Girl I am now following...

You got me with the Blondie shirt (LOVEEEEE BLONDIE) and the black and white shorts! Absolutely Love!

You certainly don't hide in your comfort zone with your amazing wardrobe. Don't believe everything those job coaches tell you. ;)
Sometimes those technical difficulties can feel like a full time job. I've had a lot of problems with my internet in the past and understand those horrid phone calls, etc...hope you're up and running normally soon. At least you had cake!
I just love all these outfits Ariane. Especially love the Blondie shirt!

Ooh, good luck with the jobs. They sound interesting to me. I would have said variety is your comfort zone! I love your pink leopard print skirt. At first I thought you were dancing around in icing sugar inside somwhere (why you would do that I don't know!)

Polka Dot Yoga! Oooooooooooom! You are the best!

Your colorful outfits never disappoint. I come to your blog to be thrilled! Good luck with the jobs offers that are out of your comfort zone. As you say, 'you never know.'

Hello Ariane,
I see shopping helps to fight against frustration after phone calls with annoying call centers. All of your dresses are cute, but I prefer the blue and turquoise, I love that colors and I love your vintage belt.
You actually have much more snow now than we have, but we also still have winterly weather, I nearly can't wait for the first days of spring.
I keep my fingers crossed that your job story will find an end, and of course the end you are expecting.
Have a great weekend, my dear!

You've got so many fun clothes! I love the Blondie shirt with those belts and that skirt. And I love the skeleton shirt, and the dots, and the blue and green! You just rock them all!

I love that you can do yoga in your fabulous hallway, and quelle yoga outfit, it's great!

I too have had issues with every large service provider. Virgin was better than Bell Canada, who I will never, ever use again - they don't train the people on the phones and then they blame the customer when things screw up - I almost had a heart attack dealing with them when I left Canada, I tell you.

Good for you for stepping out of your comfort zone, and for having an employment coach in the first place. It's sometimes easier to apply for jobs that we KNOW we can do, but the unknowable can be more scary.

You look great in your bright outfits; what a great way to beat the snowy MTL winters! Have a great weekend, Ariane. Xoxo

Out of the comfort zone - hooray for you, that takes courage! Love your blondie shirt, she is one of my all-time favorites. And the lemon cake too - wish I were there!

The cake looks so yummy it's distracting! I actually love the little yoga outfit!! Great Blondie tee and I think those jobs sound kind of fun!! Good idea to get out of the comfort zone a little

I can't believe you'd ever stay in a comfort zone not with your ever-changing hair and colourful & creative outfits! Love the Blondie tee, the sweet blue pleats and those gorgeous shorts.
How fantastic to have a huge hallway, ours is too small to swing a cat!
Boo to snow and to bad customer service. I've an ancient pay-as-you-go that cost me £3!!! I'm so cheap!
Have a wonderful weekend. xxxx

What a fabulous yoga outfit - flash those shorts, Ariane!
Good for you for going after different areas of employment. Approach job-hunting as you approach your clothes, be daring and creative!
Love the blue and green outfit, and the Blondie t-shirt is fab. xxxxx

Your yoga outfit is the BEST! Now I want to find something cool like that to wear to my classes. Love the Debbie Harry T and the pink leopard skirt. When stuff is so cheap on sale it's hard to pass up the opportunity to add some fun pieces to your wardrobe for a few bucks. I think both those jobs sound pretty interesting, and your job coach is giving you good advice - we all need to step out of our comfort zone now and then, or we don't grow!

Ok - You convinced me to join your blog. You are so dang avant garde I can't resist. I need to be a bit more avant garde so you couldn't hurt. But I've got you beat, I turned 60 six days ago. I've just started [in January] getting the guts to put myself on my posts modeling my thrift shop finds. You can help me there, too. I see things and want to place them together but get chicken and I hate chicken [to eat anyway] so help me!!! hahahaha. So nice to see your style and your choices and your confidence!!!! :D

Yes, you are consistent. Everything you wear expresses your talent and and there will be a job out there that fits perfectly for you. Even your yoga outfit/mat are an expression of your playful use of color.

That is the cutest yoga outfit I have ever seen, and let me tell you, I see a lot of them here in Lululemon land.

Always fresh, always pretty! I have a skirt that I have to hem, and I have found it helpful to check out some of your previous skirt posts so I can get an idea of length.

See and I have to get more colors. You are good for me. I love the black and white outfit you had one in the guest spot, with the turquoise/blue tights! I could pull that off, but the red tights and red hat on me would tend to "in my opinion" I would feel like a fire hydrant. hahahahaha. You pulled it off very well. See perhaps we are the yin and yang of blog-land? You do a colorful pink and yellows post and I do a solid black. There is actually blue in my skirt but the camera didn't pick it up. Those designs are tan and light blue. Oh well. Have a fabulous day Inspiration!!!
