Looking Forward to 2013 -

Hello Ladies!

Another colorful year just went by and looking forward to another one -

2012 was a good year - even tough i lost my job

Because i take it has and i said before an opportunity to work towards what i really want  and it is

More freedom in terms of what do i really want to do, when and how...

It has  been on my mind for a long time but more so since i hit the big 50!

So 2013 will be the year!

The  last colorful outfit of the year!

Vintage polyester top - Thrifted at Renaissance for $3
Skirt - Forever 21 - On sale $10
Wearing on my fav tee underneath - The fluorescent Zebra Tee!
Boots- Thrifted - $2

Here's a retrospective of my colorful style

Roll of the drum please...

My fav looks for 2012

There could a lot more but it has to stop somewhere!

Some of you Boys and Girls are almost on the other side depending where you are on the planet

It will be a quiet one for us- Supper out and some end of the year shows on TV which i think should be interesting and funny since a lot happened in our fair province and country  !

What will you be doing?

Thank you for all your comments, friendship, support, and kindness
Looking forward to another fabulous year of blogging!
Cheers!  and je vous fais la bise for the New Year!
I will be back in 2013 and hopefully i will see all of you dear Ladies
Ariane xxxxxx

What a fun look back, Ariane - I remember some, but not all,of these outfits but still, they are fresh and vibrant to my eyes!

We are having a quiet one too - a cheese fondue (which my family always does near New Year's and which happens to be a popular local dish), and then maybe a stroll down to the Lac, where there will be something festive happening.

A very Happy New Year toy you, my colourful style queen! You have been one of my very fave blogs this year!

Bonjour, Ariane! So many wonderful outfits, but my favorite is the black and white striped skirt with red top and shoes - so striking! And your pictures are definitely better when you smile :)

Good luck with your new-found freedom - I hope you can make your dreams come true!

I hope you don't end up with three comments, Ariane, as somehow my ipad is not letting me publish the ones I've written!

I loved this look back - I remember some outfits but not others - even so, they are still as fresh and vibrant to my eyes!

We are having a quiet one too - a cheese fondue (which my fam tends to do this time of year, which also happens to be a popular local dish), and then maybe a stroll down to the Lac where there will be something festive going on.

Happy New Year to you, you colourful style queen; I look forward to your adventures in 2013! Your blog has been an absolute fave and always a joy to read and see! Xoxo

Dear Ariane,
whatever you intend to do I wish you that you will enjoy it. What a big chance and you are the woman to take it.
I like all your outfits, but especially the first cheerful one.
Have a so cheerful start of the new year my dear friend.
Our last night of 2012 will be quiet too, a fine meal, good music, perhaps a film and while watching the firework at midnight i will think of you.
Happy New Year, Arianne!

Lots of lovely outfits and your trademark colourfulness in 2012, I am hoping to see plenty more in 2013, Ariane!
Have a great New Years Eve. Party at our friends' house tonight, only down the road so no great effort involved and easy to get home, plenty of wine and good cheer, there are always fireworks going off somewhere in the neighbourhood at midnight, so it should be good! xxxx

I love all your bright colours! I also like seeing your hair's evolution through the year, to the wonderful pink on blonde look you're rocking now.

Happy New Year! I'll be going out, so there will be a fun outfit post.

Ooo, I love your retrospective! You know, I don't like to focus too much on youth vs. age, but in so many of your photos you look as though you could be in your 20s! What a happy, youthful, glow you have!
We are homebodies, and will just have a fancy dinner (and too-rich dessert) at home as usual for New Years.
I wish you a wonderful year!
