Meet Montreal Blogger Danina

Hi Ladies!

Meet Danina a Montreal blogger i just discovered

I saw Danina's link in one of Franca's post

I was thrilled, happy, curious and excited !

I was not disappointed

This Lady knows how to put an outfit together

Her colorful Montreal street style look mixed with European elegance caught my eye

She has laid back class

Never intimidating - This is someone you would like to meet
Have a look for yourself

Here are 10 facts about Danina

My birth country, Yugoslavia, does not exist anymore. What used to be Yugoslavia is 7 smaller countries now.

I love to communicate and speak 5 languages fluently.

I survived a war (that is how my country broke up). During the war I was an interpreter for the United       Nations - the ultimate way to use  language because it helped broker peace.

I moved around a lot, which is why I love Facebook because it keeps all my family and friends in one place.

I adore poetry by Pablo Neruda, William Shakespeare, and William Blake. Neruda's 20th Love Poem always brings tears to my eyes.

One of my favourite singers is  Canadian counter tenor, Daniel Taylor. First time I heard him in concert I clapped for 10 minutes incessantly whilst crying (I guess I am also a bit dramatic ;-).

My biggest pet peeves are the sound of someone biting into an apple and loudly chewing a gum (are you sensing a strong auditory theme here?).

I now live in my favourite corner of the world, Montreal's neighbourhood Le Plateau Mont Royal. I love Le Plateau for its cosmopolitan spirit and because it makes me feel like I've never left.

I am married to my best friend!

I am a mom to the most spirited, wonderful little boy who was born in Rome. When we came to Montreal he mainly spoke Italian (including the hand gestures). Now he barely remembers a few words.
