Montreal Style Sud-Est at a Fashion Event - Birds Of North America

Hi Ladies!

Izzy my daughter invited me to a fashion event this week
My first ever!
She couldn't have chosen a better event
We went to a boutique called Quartier Mode on St-Laurent street
Quartier Mode is the kind of boutique that support local designers
Quartier Mode carries several Canadian designers
But for this event all eyes were on Birds of North America

These are great :) I want all of those dresses, particularly the one you picked, I'm a sucker for sailor style stuff! Plus I think the whole label name and logo are adorable!

To answer your question, I'm not from the US, my husband is and that's where he is currently as he couldn't get a Visa for the UK a few months back. The reason why he couldn't get it even though we are married is because I am actually from Portugal and I haven't been living here for long enough to be entitled to bring my husband to live here :( It sucks.

Anyway, the weather is nice and I'll be seeing him soon for a week :)

How fabulous to support local designers. Those dresses and blouses are lovely, so well cut and I image they'd flatter most women. I like what you picked out for Izzy and that gorgeous hat.
Have a wonderful week! Lots of love. xxxx

Their designs are very cute; I really like the black dress with the white accents. That is a very elegant chapeau!
