Tea With Izzy- Quality Time with My Girl

Hi Ladies
Yesterday at was at Izzy's place for Tea
For my British friends i know Tea is supper for you guys- we were having tea for desert - God!  how weird are we, hey?

We all went for supper, that is Izzy, Stephane and me  and then back to Izzy's place for a  treat and a special tea
It was a special blend of Tea made with a hint of maple syrup
Never tasted something that good
The brand is David's tea
There are several shops in Montreal
Izzy made the cupcakes

I was pretty lazy this week post wise, i simply did not feel like it
It is cold, grey, miserable here in Montreal, not at all inspiring for a photo shoot

Izzy and I wanted to do something whimsical, something that represents how much fun us 2 girls can have together - Real life, vintage style -

The following pics were taken at Izzy's flat
For those who do not know yet Izzy is my beautiful, talented, daughter

Photobucket

These are my favorites in her flat

I asked ask her to take some pics of me

She told me so many times, Mom stop posing!

Ok,ok I said, easier said than done!

This is one of the best non -pose pic

She was shooting so fast,  I did not what would come out of this photo shoot!

This is my latest acquisition
A wolf head bracelet
Again purchased at the hospital where i go for physio
Hard to resist, they always have a vendor selling original items
But all for a good cause-

This is Stephane 0h! who is Stephane? He is my future son in law!
Again...this is Stephane extensive LPs collection

This  painting was done by one of Izzy's friend

This is how the artist saw Izzy-

One day this painting will be mine!

My children and i said it before, are the best thing in my life and Mr.D of course
Having loving children who really wants you to be part of their life is the best feeling in the world
I was in the bus this morning thinking about her - thinking how beautiful, sweet, and talented she was and i  thought how blessed i was by life -

I was smiling in the bus

I love the posts of you with Izzy - they feel so warm. That's funny how she kept telling you to stop posing, but I like the photo she got. I remember when my mum and dad went to Expo '67. I also love that painting with the shoes! How's your painting going? You sound too busy - in a good way!

Yes, you're right--having children who want you to be a part of their lives is very special. I love the unposed photo she took of you and the colorful outfit she put together. Tell her I enjoyed this tour of her place.

You are both so cute, what a sweet post this is. There is nothing quite like the adult relationship with a parent. My Mom is my best friend and I know I make her proud and that always has me smiling. I love the portrait of Izzy and the picture she took of you is fun, you do really look happy.
Enjoy the weekend!
