Something A Little Different...

Hello Ladies!

Mr. D purchased a new lens for the camera - 50mm- f 1.4
So we took a stroll in the neighborhood to take some pics with the new lens!
A takes a lot of patience and practice to use the new lens
Mr. D took the pics
Izzy said he is better than me!
I agree, it is a lot easier than a tripod and remote

Here it goes....

This pic was taken in front of Morgan's Baths
Built by the Dufresne brothers in the early 1900

This pic was taken just beside our favorite cafe

On the way back I saw this fantastic shadow and light

I was wearing for this post...

Jean jacket with faux fur thrifted many years ago
Dress - thrifted at St-Vincent de Paul
Purse - Vintage from Brown Shoes
And of course those boots - H&M

Hope you enjoyed this!

I will be back soon!

Excellent lens. Your depth of field is fantastic with the blurred background. Oooo, you are going to have so much fun you'll be posting five times a day! LOL I'm glad Mr. d is better than a tripod. And I like the name of that pastry, financier. You look fantastic as usual, but that huuuge floral pattern - excellent.

Sweet a new lens! I have a 50 for mine too and I find sometimes it's hard to focus if there is not plenty of light. I keep practicing! I love the second one of you sitting best and the last one with the bright orange and wall and funky shadow is cool too! Always love your brightness dear!

wow...I can definitely see the difference with a new lens there's more depth in the pictures. How I wish I could have a better camera with a good lens. Great style as always...the colors and remixing is charming and chic. The green boots rocks!
