Hello Ladies!
Mr. D purchased a new lens for the camera - 50mm- f 1.4
So we took a stroll in the neighborhood to take some pics with the new lens!

A takes a lot of patience and practice to use the new lens
Mr. D took the pics
Izzy said he is better than me!
I agree, it is a lot easier than a tripod and remote

Here it goes....
This pic was taken in front of Morgan's Baths

This pic was taken just beside our favorite cafe
Some of the goodies in the cafe - I took those pics!
On the way back I saw this fantastic shadow and light
I was wearing for this post...
Jean jacket with faux fur thrifted many years ago
Dress - thrifted at St-Vincent de Paul
Purse - Vintage from Brown Shoes
And of course those boots - H&M
Hope you enjoyed this!
I will be back soon!

Very pretty pictures and nice outfit. I love that you wear Docs so much. Docs are cool!
Excellent lens. Your depth of field is fantastic with the blurred background. Oooo, you are going to have so much fun you'll be posting five times a day! LOL I'm glad Mr. d is better than a tripod. And I like the name of that pastry, financier. You look fantastic as usual, but that huuuge floral pattern - excellent.
So tell me about Morgan Baths...is it still an operating bathhouse?
the last photo is really cool. i love your style. its very quirky. green shoes gave a nice touch. take care.

Sweet a new lens! I have a 50 for mine too and I find sometimes it's hard to focus if there is not plenty of light. I keep practicing! I love the second one of you sitting best and the last one with the bright orange and wall and funky shadow is cool too! Always love your brightness dear!
Love your green boots <3
P.S. I've a new blog :)
Wonderful floral print on your frock, Ariane. Love all the photos, especially the last one with the amazing shadow! xxxx
I love those green boots more and more. Wonderful pictures too!
wow...I can definitely see the difference with a new lens there's more depth in the pictures. How I wish I could have a better camera with a good lens. Great style as always...the colors and remixing is charming and chic. The green boots rocks!
