These are the outfits i wore this week at work –
My outfits must obey to 3 rules – colorful, comfortable and fun –
I sit all day in front of a computer this is why I prefer my clothes to be comfortable –
There are moments during the day that are so difficult to get comfortable sitting at your desk , you just want get the …..out - anyway – work can be a pain, but we all have to work - if your clothes are not comfortable I think you might have a pretty miserable day! About layers – it seems that you are always freezing in offices – so layers are very, very practical -

I do not wear high heels I think I walk funny in them – I wear them only when I go out and then some…. I walk a lot during the week – I like to walk home from the subway station - so I need shoes you could walk in but still a bit stylish - so flats or wedge for me –

I am lucky enough that I can wear pretty well everything at work – very casual environment – engineers you see;)

It has been raining like cats and dogs and not summery at all - this makes it more difficult to figure out what to wear….the long weekend does not look good – oh well I have translation to do…

This weekend 2nd photo course at UQAM ( this is for you University of Quebec in Montreal)

The teachers will assess our first assignment – did not pick my photo yet -

Special weekend artsy courses for Adults – Apparently they started out with art courses for children until an adult wished that there would art courses for adults on the weekend so they did!

This weekend will take pictures in Griffintown this is south west downtown – the old Irish neighborhood – should be interesting -

IPOD Nation # 6 Plus Bonus

This is a mix of pictures – Some on the bus and subway on my way home taken with my ipod and pictures of the Chinese neighborhood ( le quartier chinois ) – and Old Montreal taken with my reflex - We had to take pics in those two areas for my photo courses. It was a rainy day but Mr D and I had a lot of fun. What is great about rainy days is that the light is great; the colors pop and street are deserted.

Enjoy!

It is finally kind of summer in our fair city – a taste of what is to come.
I love the spring light especially at the end of the day, it makes me smile, makes me feel happy – happy to live and have the privilege of enjoying this moment again.

It is the time of the year who you do not know what the heck to wear, cool very cool in the morning and warmer in the afternoon. We mix some winter items with little spring dresses. Some bare legs as I did this morning not too bad I survived my morning bus –subway ride!

What I wore –

Those pics were taken late Sunday afternoon- Mr D and I were having a glass of wine in the back garden when i saw the light – said to Mr D the light is wonderful must take some pictures, got my tripod and camera -off i went through the garage in the back alley ( la ruelle in French)

Love those back alleys – such a great place to take photos.

It was such a splendid day Sunday, makes you think that summer is just around the corner now if we could have leaves in threes and flowers – I guess we have to wait a bit.

My son arrived while I was taking those pictures and happily joined me in one of the pictures well more than one J

We had coq au vin that evening we all ate outside another sign that summer is not too far away!

Chouchou my cat loves the back garden Mr D arrange it so he can roamed in the garden watching the fish and drinking the water in the pond without escaping – this cat has no claws on his front paws so he needs a bit of protecting! !

I will start a Digital Photography course on Sarturday with Mr D – should be fun - the concept of the course is going through different neighborhoods in Montreal

It has been raining like crazy here – waiting for the sun

Enjoy and do not forget to smile!

What I wore -

Dress thrifted ZARA
T- shirt - Garage – Alexis Nihon Plaza – Montreal
Sandals – UO – Montreal
